Project Summary

In 2008 Lanfine Contracts won the tender to provide quality soft furnishings for over 400 rooms within the New Hall hall of residence, as part of an upgrading process to make the rooms available for guests to book over the summer period. We provided the client with a selection of sample products in a range of different fabrics, wove the chosen fabric in the EU and manufactured all the required items from our factory premises within the agreed timescale.

Products

Lanfine Contracts provided the client with high quality, self-lined double and single throws with a decorative stitch detail. We also produced Oxford style cushions in co-ordinating fabric.

Fabrics

The throws and cushions were produced in FR chenille fabric which complied fully with the customer's requirements.

Client response

This was the first job Lanfine Contracts carried out on behalf St Andrews University. Considerable projects have been undertaken since, including the provision of blinds, furniture and soft furnishings for nine new postgraduate flats and the provision of dining room furniture for other halls of residence.
